What are the DJI Goggles?
The DJI Goggles are first-person view goggles that you can use to fly your DJI drone with. As with most VR and AR goggles, these however Livestream your feed from your DJI drone. The DJI Goggles are one of very few goggles to offer a Full HD experience, with two 1080p panels, one for each eye.
You can use the goggles to fly your drone via OcuSync. Then when you are done, you can rewatch those videos in the headset from the comfort of your home. The goggles having six hours of battery life means you can connect them with an HDMI cable and play a movie or play some video games with the goggles.

What Do DJI Goggles Show & Control With Your Drone?
You still need to use your DJI drone controller to control your drone, but the DJI Goggles come with a whole range of functions that more or less replace the screen/phone/tablet you might normally use.
Almost everything you see on the controller screen is now visible inside the Goggles:
- Battery statuses
- Camera settings – ISO, shutter, F-stop, video, etc
- Flight data – distance, height, speed, etc
- Current flight mode
- GPS connection (number of satellites)
How to Turn on DJI Goggles
Connect the goggles to the DJI FPV Goggles battery via a power cable. Press once and then press and hold the power button to turn it on or off. To avoid short circuits, do not power on the goggles when the goggles are not connected to the battery.
Are The DJI Goggles Worth it?
Yes, If you want to experience flying like you imagined when you were a kid, then this is the product for you. Of course, you need to already have a Mavic. I recommend purchasing the DJI Mini SE or DJI Mini 2 as these are the cheapest DJI Mavic drones on the market if you do not want to spend $1,000+ for DJI’s other drones.
Of course, this isn’t a necessity for DJI drones, but if you have the extra money then this is something to consider purchasing if you want more cool toys.
